Notice : Recognition Of New CO Form E

Countries Implementation of the new revised OCP Brunei 1 January 2011 China 1 January 2011 Malaysia 1 January 2011 Singapore 1 January 2011 Thailand 1 January 2011 Vietnam 1 January 2011 Cambodia June/July 2011* Indonesia To be confirmed* Lao PDR latest by 15 January 2011** Myanmar 1 July 2011* Philippines 18 January 2011 * To accept the new Form from 1 January 2011 but will only accord treatment based on old OCP e.g. no movement certificate or third party invoicing, until they ratify the Second Protocol. The recognition will be based on reciprocity i.e. other Parties will recognize the old CO Form E issued by these countries. Please be informed that the transition period for the implementation of the revised Operational Certification Procedures will be over soon. Therefore, MITI will endorse old Form E until 24 February 2011. Trade Cooperation and Industry Coordination Section
