The APEC GHS Clearing House project, named the “GHS Reference Exchange and Tool, G.R.E.A.T.”) was developed to provide GHS labeling elements in different languages, in a joint effort to facilitate international GHS implementation. The G.R.E.A.T. website can be reached at http://great.cla.gov.tw/ENG/index.aspx

The G.R.E.A.T. website was based on an APEC project developed by Chinese Taipei. Chinese Taipei is the host of the website which also maintains and provides support to international GHS implementation. The “G.R.E.A.T.” website covers GHS labelling elements in local languages including (1) hazard class and category, (2) pictogram (Symbol), (3) signal word, (4) hazard statement, and (5) precautionary Statement. At present the GHS labeling elements is available in languages from Japan, Philippines, Chile, Thailand, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Australia and Chinese Taipei.
