  1. The book I need is not available at MITI Library. Can the Library get it from another library?

Answer:

  • Yes, Our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Services, usually takes about one to three days depending on the availability of items borrowed from libraries around Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya or Putrajaya.
  • The Interlibrary loan or the Publication Delivery System (PDS) is helmed by the National Library of Malaysia (NLM)
  • MITI Library will borrow library materials from other institutions on behalf of its members or lend its materials to the members of other institutions.
  • Interlibrary Loan or Publication Delivery System are accepted using the ILL or PDS form.

Answer:

Only Four (4) library materials are allowed per person for borrowing purposes.

  1. Who is eligible to be a registered member of the library?

Answer:

  • MITI Library is limited to MITI officials only.
  • Non – MITI users are welcome to do references, and allowed to photocopy library materials but must comply with the Copyright Act - 1987 (Act 332) or (Amendment) 1997 ( Act A994).
