The on-going transformation has enabled MIDA to function more effectively and dynamically. It is now empowered to approve incentives in real time and act swiftly to engage investors more successfully.
MIDA intends to further intensify its efforts in attracting quality foreign investments through its Trade and Investment Missions this year. These missions will serve as a platform to draw high value-added and innovation-driven investments and enhance strong bilateral ties with targeted countries like Europe, United States, South Korea, Singapore, India and China.
The SPM meanwhile, will include business matching sessions and serve as a platform to provide recent updates on the measures undertaken by the Government to strengthen the economy, stimulate growth and recover from the economic slowdown.
