KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (Bernama) — The International Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI) will propose the inclusion of corporate social reponsibility programmes in government-linked companies’ key performance indicators. “What the GLCs get is from the government, so they have a responsibility to to give back to the government (people). “The most successful GLC is FELDA, which was set up for the FELDA settlers. As part of their CSR programme, they set up the FELDA Mara Junior Science College in Perak, for the children of FELDA settlers,” Deputy Minister Datuk Hamim Samuri said after launching the GLC Explorace 2013 in the capital.
