MITI and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) Republic of Korea agreed to establish a Joint Study Group (JSG) on the feasibility of a bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries. There are opportunities for both countries to explore and the JSG would assess the economic benefits and challenges that may arise based on the agreed scope of the FTA feasibility study’.
