MITI as the National Secretariat of Look East Policy (LEP) organised a Business Seminar today themed “Progressing Beyond Four Decades of Partnership" between Malaysia and Japan to reaffirm the commitment to continue the implementation of LEP. The Business Seminar highlights were on the strategies and policies adopted by Malaysia in promoting trade and investment in spurring economic recovery, efforts in enhancing the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda in businesses as well as policies recommendation in response to the geopolitical tensions which will further provide improvement for the rakyat’s livelihoods.
