A national level steering body dedicated to the development of the aerospace industry in Malaysia.

MITI through NAICO participated in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2019 (LIMA ‘19) as part of MITI’s efforts in promoting the development of Malaysian aerospace and Shipbuilding & Ship Repair (SBSR) industries.

MITI’s participation at the 53rd International Paris Airshow 2019 is part of NAICO’s Aerospace Industry Development Program (AeroIDP) in promoting Malaysia aerospace industry ecosystem as well as Malaysia as the aerospace hub in Southeast Asia (SEA). The Malaysia Pavilion was a collaborative effort between the Government agencies and Malaysian aerospace industry players coordinated by MATRADE.

NAICO organised the 3^rd edition of MyAero, an annual event that brings together the aerospace industry community to discuss matters related to the development of the aerospace ecosystem in Malaysia. Apart from exhibition and product displays, the Summit also highlighted several events focusing on human capital development and industry research.

The Forum exposed the Malaysian participants with the latest development in regional jets market and technologies driving the business. This is also an initiative by Embraer to search for potential new suppliers for the new supply chain development strategy.

NAICO’s participated in the Dubai Airshow 2019 in exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration and partnership between Malaysia and the leading aerospace players particularly in the Middle East.
