YB Senator Datuk Lim Ban Hong, Deputy Minister, Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) had a visit by His Excellency Ricardo Morote, Ambassador Of Peru. Some of the key highlights during the discussion are Malaysia-Peru bilateral trade and economic relations, the Malaysian position on the possible ratification of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the upcoming Trade and Investment Mission to Peru. Peru is among Malaysia’s largest trading partners in Latin American countries. Bilateral trade between both countries had shown growth in 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.
