MITI led by YB Tengku Zafrul visited Ann Joo Steel Berhad today, the pioneer of the nation's steel industry and a leading manufacturer of long products ranging from billets, high-yield deformed bars, mild steel round bars, and wire rods.

Seeing the huge potential growth in this industry, MITI believes that the support by the government in attracting foreign direct investments would help this sector to be one of the major contributors in spurring the economic expansion, and technology transfers as well as creating high-skilled job opportunities for the Rakyat.
