24 November 2023, Kuala Lumpur- The Indonesia Investment Forum emphasises the potential for collaboration in infrastructure, real estate, and services between Malaysia and Indonesia. The investment in the new capital city is expected to generate opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs, benefiting the economic development of both countries. The longstanding partnership between Malaysia and Indonesia has resulted in favourable outcomes, including job creation, investments, and promising prospects for their respective economies. In 2022, the total trade between Malaysia and Indonesia reached a record high of US$29.45 billion, marking a 28.2% year-on-year increase. Acknowledging the strong economic and bilateral ties, Malaysia is eager to explore further collaboration opportunities in Nusantara.
