MITI, British High Commission, and BMCC joined forces in a groundbreaking hybrid session, ‘Unlocking New Horizons – CPTPP Benefits for British and Malaysian Businesses.’ Ms Mastura Ahmad Mustafa, Deputy-Secretary General Trade, H.E. Ailsa Terry, High Commissioner and Ms Jennifer Lopez CEO BMCC officiating the event.

Session shed light on the CPTPP including Malaysia’s ratification in November 2022 and the potential impact of the UK’s entry into the CPTPP. Key speakers were Ms Sumathi Balakrishnan and Mr Richard Colley, and the session sparked excitement about seizing opportunities in this historic alliance.
