- To further
facilitate intra-ASEAN trade and to create greater certainties in
business environment within the region, ASEAN launched an ACT system on
20 July 2005.
-
ACT is an
internet-based non-legal and non-binding problem solving mechanism,
aimed to be a network of government focal points between ASEAN member
countries where private sector complaints and operational problems
encountered in the implementation of economic agreements can be
resolved effectively.
-
With
the implementation of the ACT system, the business sector can launch an
online-complaint arising from various economic commitments made in
respective ASEAN agreements.

Questionnaire on the Utilisation of the CEPT-Scheme

-
This
assessment is crucial to provide guidance in making appropriate policy
decisions with a view to further integrating the region. This is in
line with the ASEAN's Leaders decision to establish the ASEAN Economic
Community by 2020.
- To provide feedback on the utilisation of the CEPT Scheme, please fill-out the questionnaire.
The feedback can be e-mailed to questionnaireCEPT@aseansec.org
