Functions
The functions of the Strategic Communications Unit is to plan and manage public relations through the following activities:

Media Relations

managing and developing media relations in order to gain maximum news coverage and mutual understanding with the media.

Corporate Communications
-
disseminating the right strategic message and information on government policies relating to international trade and industry for public confidence.

Information Management
-
monitoring issues and feedback in the media and internet; and compiling and updating information on international trade and industry.

Corporate Presentation
-
producing and coordinating presentations such as corporate video for briefing and promotional activities.

MITI logo endorsement
-
Handling applicants pertaining to the usage of MITI’s logo to signify its support for any programme or event
