On 11 March 2018, 2,000 Bumiputera youth entrepreneurs are ready to undergo training and obtain entrepreneurial guidance through the Tunas Usahawan Belia Bumiputera or known as TUBE at 15 PLKN Camps throughout the country. The National TUBE Opening Ceremony was officiated by YB Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) at PLKN Camp Batu Jong, Kuala Krai, Kelantan. TUBE has been identified as a programme that helps to empower human capital under the agenda Transformasi Kesejahteraan Bumiputera (TKB) implemented by the Government as inclusive and taking into account the community under 40 percent earnings (B40).

The National Opening Ceremony of TUBE 5.0, 2018 was officiated by YB Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, MITI Minister accompanied by YBhg. Tan Sri Ir. (Dr.) Mohamed Al Amin Haji Abdul Majid, Chairman of SME Corp. Malaysia and YBhg. Datuk (Dr.) Hafsah Hashim Chief Executive Officer, SME Corp. Malaysia     

Exchange of MoU between SME Corp. Malaysia and the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development as a collaborator for TUBE 5.0 in 2018 and handing over mock up cheque to SME Corp. Malaysia by Maybank Islamic Berhad and Fizo Omar Channel (FOC) as sponsors and strategic partners of the TUBE 5.0 Programme in 2018.
